Countdown: (censored) days to CNY 23/1/09

I believe the reason for the sensor is too obvious, so I need not mention it.
Today was peppered with fun, but certain well chosen comments by MPC were strong enough to bring back memories, so do forgive me if I drone on too long about past events.
When we proceeded to the terraces, certain people in my class found it delightful to rush forward and throw the whole class into chaos. That, plus the seething mass of people who were lost and confused regarding their seating positions, almost sent the CMC to Woodbridge. It's a nice CNY present, right?
As we were waiting for the seniors to sort out the delays that always happened on important events like this, MPC suddenly called me and said, "Hey, what's 7-11?" It was only after my reflection that I mentioned that it was the command to surround a certain cordoned off area in Michael Crichton's book The Andromeda Strain, but hearing his tone, I drifted off into a nice recollection of what 7-11 used to stand for in my old school. Of what 7-11 truly is, I shall not mention, for that is a deep secret that I will keep until I find fit to reveal.
Then, after the national anthem, we had the CNY concert. On our way there, the class split into three parties. The first party was under yours truly's command and was efficiently progressing towards the hall and wondering where the second party were. The second party was led by the chairman and took an unknown and long-winded route towards the hall, wondering where the 1st and 3rd parties were. The third party were composed of people who had no idea where to go, but just drifted with the crowd and arrived at the hall, where they finally met the 1st party. Oh, the joy of chaos after chaos.
However, the concert made up for everything. The 相声 was particularly nice and I enjoyed all the performances. My favourite performance was the "Don't forget the lyrics" CNY edition. All of those in my level loves our music teacher (for his so-called "sissyness"), and were thus shouting "Mr *** **!" so loudly that the teachers seating beside us had an expression that clearly stated, 'Who is this guy?"
But, our music teacher disappointed us. When confronted with the lyrics he needed to fill in, he went "祝大家学业进步,万事如意" and all of us were like, holy - .
Towards the end of the concert, my heart begin to ache for my old school. It was expected - I missed my friends, and I particularly missed a few people, like JH who went to LKYS, and LTwo went to LKYGDS. However, LT couldn't come back, so that was sorta sad, but JH could, and I started dreaming about beating JH at table-tennis.
I don't know whose wise idea it was to wait for the girls from the nearby school, but wait I did, and finally got fed up of waiting and took the bus with Muffin. On the journey with Muffin, Muffin was silently trying to wipe up the wet patch on his pants caused by his leaking water bottles (what did you think?), while Michael Buble's Home and Daniel Powter's Next Plane Home kept replaying in my mind. It is true, music does make your heart grow fonder.
When I arrived, I was so excited that I was constantly babbling to Muffin about how excited I was. When we walked past the P6's classrooms, we caused a furore. Actually, I caused the furore, but does it really matter? Anyway, I met my teachers, and I basically played some table tennis with my friends. I feel so much more stronger after defeating 11-8 people who used to defeat me 11-4. Very amazing, ain't it?
Bad point for today (No perfect day ever occurs): Got "birthday bashed". Ironic I was speaking about it to the whole level a few days ago. Friends took my handphone and sent a message I would rather forget to a girl that I would also rather forget. Not that I ever liked her. Just that she basically robbed me of the chance to get highest for CL and she claims that she's a better speaker than I am, which is not true. OK, maybe she is, but that's not the point. Anyway, they sent two people to guard me, but I escaped them soon enough. Please. Talk about pathetic. They brought me to Block C, unfamiliar ground for them and a familiar playground for me. What chance did they have. You should have seen JH's face when I tapped him on the back just as he sent the message. That was the only silver lining.
So that's all for today. Yeah, I know, it's not really today. Whew, lucky I wasn't history based at all. Not that I hate history. Just that it was a long day. Really long one. Sayonara!
