Back to school 29/1/09
This symbolises my return to school. It was sort of weird, but I still could function normally, thank goodness for that. Function normally means that I could remember the school song. Isn't that good? Anyway, first period was the viewing of News in Class. All I remember was the art exhibition thingy in the Phillipines, I think. It was to address social-political issues. That is a untouchable topic for me. At least, I don't think I will touch on it much here. Anyway, next was EL, and we had no homework. Then, it was P.E., and we were introduced to the weights room - without actually entering it. Reason? Door was locked. Great planning, wasn't it? Then, we had Geography, with our Geog teacher being unusually kind and not giving homework. It was followed by EL again, to replace CL, as our CL teacher was not back yet. We were experimenting with prefixes, suffixes and root words. Mr Yap had the ingenuity of creating the words "gymgynoid" and "facamist". I don't sensor the words, cause their meanings are unclear until you search the dictionary. But don't search it, please. I hope everyone can have a pure mind. Then, it was followed by computer studies and I completed next week's assignment today. YEAH!! However, it was "compensated" by the fact that I stayed back, in vain, for the Maths Olympiad training. Apparently it wasn't on that day. What day is it on then? Will ask it on Monday. Anyway, I borrowed Michael Cricton's book Prey after reading Sphere. With vague memories of reading a part of it with my cousin when I was 11, I am really interested in what I missed at that time.
