26/1/09: CNY!!!!

Yeah! It's CNY now! After waking up at 8, even though I slept at 2.30, for reasons unknown, I ate my breakfast, which was symbolic and really delicious (my mum's cooking always is), went to the temple to pray, went to my grandmum's house to eat, and went to my aunt's house to play blackjack, hoping to win big like I did the day before. Unfortunately, I won -$10. Around $10. Boo. But nevermind, cause my dad won it. And he gave it back. He's such a great dad.

After that, we left for Malaysia to pay a visit to my mum's dad, whom I shall call Grandpa. We're coming back only on the 28th. Car journey was long, tedious, boring and sleep-inducing. In fact, I think I made up for all the hours I've been sleeping late. I know, I know, you can't make up for sleep like that, but you get the rough idea. We arrived at Grandpa's house at 11pm, had our really late dinner (It was dinner, cause I didn't eat anything from 3pm onwards. And I ate a small slice of home made buttercake by my mum at that time.) Slept at 12.30 in my cousins room.
