So anyway, I dragged my limp, exhausted and ick body to school, and the first thing that I saw was that the second A. pipped me to the post to be 3rd to arrive in class. Chairman and Birdy were already there, so no chance of 1st or 2nd. Then, I got more excited when I realised that the MC for today's assembly wasn't here yet and I might have to emcee. Miraculously, this cured by flu at once. In fact, I even forgot about my sore throat. I rock, don't I? However, my hopes were dashed like how I almost wrecked my head against the terraces when I saw that the MC was here. But then, it was sort of too much to expect, wasn't it?
So, back to lessons. We have Art homework today, a great step forward for all memebers of our class as it was not all talk by the teacher. Then, we had CL, where we learnt the format of a 私函. I was slightly confuesed, but at least I know some nice words to write for the 私函.
Then, it was recess, and then it was Assembly. Music Appreciation today was the part filled with the most humour. Everyone was like clapping as if it was President Obama himself going up on stage when Mr TBB went up. We were learning how to sing a symbolic school song (unnamed to protect privacy). So Mr TBB was like ******* go, and we all repeated "******* go" and the whole level burst out into laughter. It was expected. We all "love" TBB. What interested me most was the portion about ANGLES. WHY, oh WHY must the whole school take part!!!! Darn the organisers. Anyway, after Assembly was RTA, where we did stuff about video footage.
Then, we had our music lesson. TBB was like listening to a weird Winnie the Pooh song and all of us were making faces that explicitly stated "Holy moly!" We learnt another symbolic school song and we learnt the meaning of the symbolic school scong we sang in Assembly. LJY had the courage to say "You look very beautiful today, Mr T." and TBB was like "Huh?!?!" Anyway, after that, we had LA, where we did Character Analysis on Charlie Gordon. Charlie seems to getting even more fake to me after we pratically shrink him.
So, during luch, I asked the first A. to buy the really nice Ham and Cheese sandwich for me. Then, I went to look for the first CSE teacher I needed to clarify something with. As I'm in the mood to practise my description skills, I shall now be describing the CSE staffroom.
The room was completely empty. Even though the warm afternoon light was filtering in from the semi-transclucent shades, a few pale yellow lights were turned on. Even though it was highly unlikely that the teacher forgot to turn off the lights, as the teacher I was looking for was Head of Geography, one does wonder. As I stepped in deeper into the small room, I began to get slightly chilled, literally and figuratively. The aircon was sort of cold, and due to its proximity to the third floor, it is a little difficult to keep one's mind focused on the task before him. Looking around at the 4 tables, I immediately spotted the teacher's table. Looking around at her table, to see if there was anything that would clairify my doubts, my heart was beating as if I had just run my 1.6 like I did in Primary School a long time ago. It was ridiculous, but it was difficult to forget the fact that I may have been invading into the higher centers of the school. After all, she was the Head of Geography. Seeing nothing to answer my questions, I turned to leave. At this moment, a very nice melody was played. I turned around rapidly, looking for the source of the sound, and found none. The melody was the type of melodies you heard from music boxes, the very neutral type where your feeling is what decides the tone of the music. To my spooked heart, it sounded like a prelude to NC16 movies censored due to violence that always came before the appearance of a apparition, which will proceed to scare the wits out of everyone near, take the life of someone out of fun, give a deep, nasty laugh that would win it an Oscar, and disappear. Not being in the mood to be scared to death. I rushed out of the staffroom, almost hearing the evil laughter that resided in the deepest areas of my heart, ready strike out if there was cause for panic.
Well, now that was an unsually long description, so I shall not elucidate anymore on today, cause I don't really think there is anything else to elucidate on. Sayoonara!
